In 1997, Sheffield City Council took a bold and imaginative decision. They made available a valuable former comprehensive school building in 4 acres of grounds to a local charity of parents of children with cerebral palsy. The charity’s aim was to develop a new model of inclusion – a resource for disabled children, their families, carers and those professionals who work with them at the heart of an inclusive community centre.
In 2002, Paces handed over to a newly-formed Development Trust comprising all Campus-resident groups, management of the Campus and the development of the Achievement Centre model.
This lovely little project was a joint effort for ‘Achievement Centres’ brought together by a small team of professionals such as Ken Grint Photography, Gogglebox Ltd Sheffield, Martin at Space to learn (Project Manager and Carl Smart Online. The project needed a new brand logo and website, as a team we gave AC just the look it was after.
